RFL
Sh!t was jacked today. Everyone rode like they had something to prove. Dudes were hitting hard in practice! Despite that, i managed to find myself sliding into a turn on my head after sketchin' out, free and clear of anyone else. Thanks to the fullface my chops were not harmed. Open was nuts. Made the semi and got put on my a$$. Pulled solid gates all day. Somehow transfered out in the first go-around of a hellastacked expert class. The main: mediocre snap, bump the 2 guys next to me, hesitate and it's race over. Roll in for a crappy 6?th place. Thanks to Jay for helpin' me up when i got my bell rung in the AM.
Yesterday T and i fought frigid hellwind for the better part of 4 hours, but it was nice to ride in daylight for once.

TWO.24
Got out late again. Only made it to Hubertus by sunset. Nice clear night to be out on the backroads. Last night was a good time with the whole crew. Nathan wrecked, Bubba threw down, Randy got taken out by Bubba's daughter or something, i taught Goat how to race dirty and Tony G gave it try and shot some cool pics. Sounds they're lobbying for a rematch next week, sure Jay'll have the DL. Looks like T actually wants to ride tomorrow. I had planned on racing this weekend but i'm thinking i may just hit the road and save the money, unless the weather totally craps out. We'll see.

LAZY SUNDAY
From Tbone today:
It was a good weekend. I logged 1000 miles. All right, from the couch. 200 miles of Craftsman Truck racing, 300 miles of Busch racing, and 500 miles of Cup action.
-tony
Must be nice to race Comp. Not like my Sunday was any better. Cleaned the apartment in the morning then managed to nap through half the race. Wasted day? I'll take one once in awhile.
Kinda like this.

TOSA TUNDRA
Ha-haaaaaa! 0 degrees and sweating. Must've dressed right. 8 of us laid tracks down on Hoyt park's singletrack today. Hi-lites include T-boning Bubba at full bore on the "Super G", clearing a few staircases on the fix, DIHAF asking if he has a flat, Jeremey egging on the Old Man to go faster, faster, until he dumped it. Plenty of carnage with plenty of snow to cushion the blows. Rollcall: Russell, TCXr, Mountaingoat, Bubba, DIHAF, Bdog and the Old Man Jerrod. Out.

FREEDOM
That's what i call it. Kill the grind, hit the road. Only made it to North Prairie when it got dark, took the windie way home. This is definitely my favorite time of year to ride road, day or night. These sporadic and premature warm days that tease of a promising season soon approaching. Whatever, i'm amped and it rocked. Crispy chicken & Corona. Maybe i'll bust the bmx around town now, just because i can. Gotta sharpen up the mad skeelz for the Thursday throwdown. Tomorrow's another long day of BS, pro'ly cram some riding in between jobs. Whatever, see ya suckers!
And for the ladies out there...

2.3
Lately BMX seems to be blowing up as fast as Blogger, or the other way around, or maybe ones feeding off the other. Whatever the deal, who cares, the more the merrier! For years there would be people i'd see in the summer and then different people i'd see in the winter. Now it's become a core group of friends who can keep in touch and race together year-round. Having more fun than ever and if you ain't in yet, we got plenty of room for ya. Out.
