After a good day Saturday, these two Tosa Mofo's caught me cuttin through their turf. Luckily we was right on the county line where they warned me to keep on rollin' and not even think about comin' back- til next Sunday! Who knows whats gonna happen then!

True that both WCA CX races for this weekend are cancelled due to perfect cross weather. Reason enough to get something new off the ground. Beechwood Recoil Cross will lay the foundation. Sunday 2pm. No Categories. 60 for all. $5 donations welcomed. Rain or rain or rain or shine. Spread the good word to those that you know will groove. BYO beer, grillables, bells, clean bikes, dogs, smiles, towels, shoes, legs, lungs, and ideas for the birth of our new Crosshairs CX Series. We’ll provide the grass, hills, mud, hills, fires, hills, grills, and hills. Years from now you can say you were there. Find someone who been…….and find your way.

It really never ends. Saturday involved shot guns, flyovers, wool, drinking, fire jumping, an amazing array of stews, cookies, dogs, Douglas, swag and even a little bike racing. Thanks to all the fine people who make happen, it was a Blast!

Sunday, Kelli and I headed south of the border to Do The Rock. That went well too, she took the win in the 8 mile and I won the 35 miler. We figured that earned us a Culvers stop for dinner.
