Stink & Drink Thursdays

With steel, a fresh coat is as good as a new bike.

Go time is approaching!

Fast and fluid, yet delightfully painful. Last week was maybe the best Gun Show yet. Joe eased the knife into us, and widdled the group into a 5 man battle royale. 52:16 was enough, barely. Nathan posted big numbers(wait til June!), Chudy threw down all over and Mark showed we've barely scratched the surface of talent in Spring City. Spread the word, come out. Round 4 goes down tomorrow.

Gun Show. Third edition of 2010. Will FG Joe kill us all again? Will 52:16 be enough? Who'll represent this week? Madison threw down last. MKE as well. Ocon? 212? Roadie pack fill? All are welcome. 6pm here.

Another fun day in the city. Aris ripped our legs off while politely guiding us, Michael hung on all day(awesome!) I crashed Greg, but otherwise we all survived. Great event put on by Sparrow and the COG crew. Greg & I had to bail back to Waukesha before the late awards ceremony, so not sure how it all panned out yet. photos here.

This sure as hell was no fashion show, more like a Pain Cave!

While work may have kept me from most of this weekends festivities, I still managed to get some good bike time in with some good people. Sounds like H8TR was a blast and props to the Polska boys for taking the team trophy! Missed out on trail work (and will again next week since I'll be here.), but can't say enough about what the crew down there is getting done! Good things are happening at the Kettles every weekend and if you want to be a part of it, check it out here- Basically, all you have to do is be at Emma Carlin at 8:30a, dig in the dirt with some cool people for 3 hours, maybe win some swag and ride your bike after. That simple. Also going on next Saturday (if you're a girl) is the WORS Womens event at Lapham Peak. Looks like they're going to have something for everyone and if I was a girl I'd go too. If you're also interested in helping improve the trails at Lapham Peak, let me know! Lastly, if you're still pining for the road, our Tuesday Nite Gun Show (Waukesha's Premier road ride) is in full swing now. Wanna test against the best? Be at Main & Barstow, downtown Waukesha at 6pm. That's all I got for now. See you somewhere soon!

While the skies only appeared threatening, the Polska hurricane was going full force. Every Tuesday now through August! As Greg can probably atest, your A game begins here.
