While most headed North, South was closer for me. New faces, different scene, didn't know what to expect. Started 2nd row and just barely got through a start line pile up. Hammer up to top ten in the prologue loop, followed a tricky wheel into the first single track and the gaps were set. The course was part road race, part super D, and all fun. The 2:1 was maxed on both ends. Rode with Kevin Klug and John Gatto the second half before pulling away for 7th. Great time in IL and hope to be back!
